One of my favorite hobbies is gardening. I don't care what I am growing, I get this weird high from seeing stuff grow. This year I have 16 tomato plants. I don't eat tomatoes because I am allergic to them. But my garden would be unsuccessful (to me) if I didn't have them!
One of the best things about having a garden is using the food that you have grown in a delicious recipe. Many of the recipe's you see have ingredients straight from my backyard.
This has been a wonderful year in my garden. I've had more tomatoes that I can handle and I've made more tomato sauce than I know what to do with. Sadly, the tomatoes are gone for the season :(
This is a picture of the Roma tomatoes that came from the garden. They make the BEST sauce!!
I just planted some Lima Beans, one of my favorites and also some Collard Greens, which will be ready for New Years Day!
